Robot Programmer / Robotics Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Program ABB robots (RAPID) for production lines with 1-5 robots that move and stack parts
• ▹Virtual commissioning (simulation) plus real commissioning at the factory and at customer sites (1-3 weeks per assignment)
• ▹Commission bus systems (Profinet, EtherCAT)
• ▹Optimize motion sequences for 5-20% shorter cycle times
• ▹Implement safety functions (e.g. SafeMove)
• ▹Coordinate technically with international customers and project teams

Requirements

• ▹Degree or technician qualification (electrical engineering, automation, computer science), or initial experience in robotics/automation
• ▹Experience in robot programming (ABB preferred; KUKA, Yaskawa or Fanuc also relevant)
• ▹Own prior robotics projects, programs or commissioning work
• ▹English for technical coordination
• ▹Willingness to travel (details discussed in interview, no permanent assignment)
