Senior IT Administrator / Team Lead – Greater Dresden Area

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Provide technical and disciplinary leadership, training and development of the support team
• ▹Administer and support hybrid Microsoft/Apple environments, including Apple Device Management (MDM), deployment and troubleshooting
• ▹Operate and optimize Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and hybrid cloud setups
• ▹Contribute to the design and implementation of IT projects (migrations, rollouts, infrastructure build-out)
• ▹Support and optimize networks (managed WiFi, VPN, firewalls), NAS systems and virtualization (Hyper-V)
• ▹Handle escalation management and qualified fault analysis
• ▹Communicate with customers on-site and remotely
• ▹Evaluate new technologies and tools for the service portfolio

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience in IT administration
• ▹Deep know-how in both Microsoft and Apple environments
• ▹Confident use of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
• ▹Experience with network technology, virtualization (Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructures
• ▹Desire to lead - coach, train and develop a team
• ▹Confident communication in German and English
• ▹Driver's license and willingness to travel for short assignments across Saxony (Dresden, Chemnitz, Leipzig)

Nice to have

• ▹Apple certifications (ACiT, ACSP), or motivation to obtain them
• ▹Experience with collaboration/project tools (JIRA, Confluence, Notion, Odoo, Teams, TeamViewer)
• ▹IT vocational training or a degree
• ▹Experience leading small teams
