Senior Software Developer - C#/.NET & WPF

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Architecture, implementation and review of WPF/XAML and MVVM-based desktop applications
• ▹Building robust UI/UX flows including performance and stability optimization
• ▹Integrating REST APIs, data storage (e.g. EF Core) and messaging/inter-process communication
• ▹Ensuring test coverage (unit/integration), CI/CD releases, code reviews, clean code practice
• ▹Acting as a technical sparring partner for product/consulting, effort estimation and prioritization
• ▹Where the project allows: leading AI coding agents

Requirements

• ▹10+ years of C#/.NET experience, very confident in WPF/XAML and MVVM
• ▹Experience with desktop architectures, asynchronous programming, DI/IoC and debugging
• ▹Routine use of Git and CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), testing experience
• ▹Self-organized way of working, pragmatic quality standards, clear communication
• ▹German at least C1, English for documentation/reviews
• ▹Experience with AI-assisted development
• ▹Enthusiasm for AI and willingness to build software at the cutting edge

Nice to have

• ▹Mechanical engineering/industrial context (HMI, production/measurement technology, CAD/PLM proximity)
• ▹Experience with LLM-based (multi-)agent systems, Semantic Kernel
• ▹EF Core, gRPC, Prism/ReactiveUI, performance tuning
• ▹Experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage) or comparable platforms
