IT Consultant – System Administration

Responsibilities

• ▹Take responsibility for customers' systems, from Windows Server to specialised application servers
• ▹Lead a team at the customer site where needed: distribute tasks and ensure good results
• ▹Be responsible for the customer's IT operations and support project teams working on the transformation of the overall system where needed
• ▹Document systems and configurations for the customer
• ▹Collect metrics and facts and prepare them as a basis for decisions for the customer
• ▹Be there for the customer when needed, including on-call duty shared within the team

Requirements

• ▹Successfully completed vocational training or degree in IT, or a comparable qualification
• ▹Many years of practical experience as a responsible IT system administrator
• ▹Good knowledge of all technologies for enterprise IT operations: Windows Server, firewall, network and applications
• ▹Problem-solving mindset, structured problem analysis and strong communication with users
• ▹Develop your own solutions when none exist: configure systems, write scripts and automate daily tasks
• ▹Ability to collect system metrics and present them well for discussions with stakeholders
• ▹Project management skills and the ability to structure and lead projects and teams
