Your Area of Responsibility * Overall responsibility for the output of your team and the product features within the areas of competence covered by the team members * Planning personnel, resources, and priorities within the group, including monitoring and verification of effort booking for correctness and completeness * Providing the appropriate project accounts * Disciplinary management, including: * ** Vacation planning and preparation for approval by department management ** Conducting employee appraisals ** Supporting job interviews ** Acting as motivator and first point of contact in case of problems * Continuous guidance, coaching, and support of team members * Negotiating feature backlogs and prioritization with stakeholders * Managing suppliers providing software components and/or tools related to the group's area of competence Requirements Must Have * Knowledge of software development processes and agile methods * Basic programming knowledge in at least one object-oriented programming language or one modern web programming/scripting language (e.g. TypeScript, JavaScript, PHP) * Solid MS Office skills * Moderation techniques * Leadership and teamwork skills * Strong organizational and time management skills * Stress resistance and ability to improvise * High affinity for user experience and modern visualization design across different devices and device types, including mobile devices * Structured and team-oriented way of working * Degree from a Higher Technical Education Institute, University of Applied Sciences, or Technical University in Automation Technology or Information Technology * Advanced German and English language skills, both written and spoken Nice to Have * 2 to 3 years of experience with programming and scripting languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, C++, or frontend technologies including HTML, XML, JSON, and CSS * 2 to 3 years of experience leading a software development team in the SCADA industry * Experience with WinCC OA * Basic knowledge of web technologies and web architectures * Experience in high-quality UI design and user experience What We Offer * State-of-the-art agile working environment within a globally active technology group * Opportunity to actively shape the digital transformation in industry * Employment with a company repeatedly recognized as one of Austria's Leading Companies * Flexible working hours, home office options, mobile working, and continuous training opportunities * Free participation in the company fitness program, with 50% of the training time counted as working time * Ergonomically designed workstations with height-adjustable desks * Company pension scheme in addition to the agreed salary * Free charging infrastructure for electric vehicles * Company (e-)bike model * Company mobile phone with permission for private use * Numerous Siemens employee discounts * Meal allowance * Free hot and cold beverages Compensation This position is subject to the Austrian IT Collective Agreement (KV IT / ST2). The minimum gross monthly salary is EUR 4,700 based on 38.5 hours per week.
