Responsibilities

• ▹Design, implement and further develop VMware-based infrastructure
• ▹VMware Cloud Foundation 9 and technologies related to the platform
• ▹Build and establish a completely new infrastructure platform
• ▹Automate and orchestrate infrastructure and recurring processes
• ▹Integrations between platforms, systems and services
• ▹Availability, redundancy, capacity and performance in critical environments
• ▹Hardening, security work and robust operations
• ▹Migrate and modernize existing environments
• ▹Troubleshooting and problem solving in large, complex infrastructures
• ▹Close collaboration with specialists in infrastructure, networking, security, Kubernetes and architecture

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience with VMware and virtualized infrastructure
• ▹Good understanding of VMware Cloud Foundation and interest in working with VCF 9
• ▹Good understanding of data centers, networking, storage and underlying infrastructure
• ▹Experience operating and developing mission-critical environments
• ▹Understanding of security, hardening, redundancy and high availability

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with VMware NSX, automation, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes or hybrid environments
