IT Coordinator at Katarina Södra School

Responsibilities

• ▹Be responsible for the school's overall IT development and IT environment, in consultation with teachers, school management and staff
• ▹Identify areas for development and find improvements and new ideas
• ▹Needs analysis, ordering and rollout for IT procurements, installations and reinstallations
• ▹Lead pilot projects and the introduction of new systems
• ▹Investigate the school's digital needs with teachers and propose licenses and hardware
• ▹Stay up to date on data protection, information security, contracts, regulations, policies and guidelines
• ▹Support pupils, staff and school management in digitalization and handle user issues (support tickets, account and access management, staff ID cards, password resets, login problems)
• ▹Act as the unit's primary contact for suppliers and the ICT unit on IT matters
• ▹Support the caretaker and other administrative tasks such as orders

Requirements

• ▹Good technical competence, shown through relevant post-secondary education or experience
• ▹Good knowledge and understanding of educational operations and their needs
• ▹Good skills in managing websites, cloud services and social media
• ▹Take own initiative, structure tasks through planning and prioritization, meet deadlines
• ▹Handle varied tasks with periods of high workload and pace
• ▹Good command of Swedish, spoken and written

Nice to have

• ▹Previous work for the City of Stockholm and knowledge of the city's systems and IT organization
