Responsibilities

• ▹Design solutions for data ingestion
• ▹Design and implement ETL pipeline architecture for manufacturing and development data of MEMS sensors
• ▹Mentor trainees, review code, act as a role model for junior software engineers, data scientists and data engineers
• ▹Apply clean code principles and agile ways of working
• ▹Consult with colleagues and support them in your area of expertise

Requirements

• ▹At least a bachelor's degree in a STEM major
• ▹3+ years of experience as a software developer or data engineer
• ▹Advanced Python, Databricks and PySpark with hands-on experience in all
• ▹Knowledge of Hadoop
• ▹Experience with cloud technologies, especially Azure

Nice to have

• ▹MSc in IT from a high-prestige university
• ▹Knowledge of BI tools (PowerBI or Spotfire)
• ▹Experience in multinational, complex projects, ideally as senior data engineer or architect
• ▹AI/ML knowledge and close collaboration with data scientists
