Senior Software Engineer | Platform Engineering

Responsibilities

• ▹Build and maintain the internal platform that takes services from a laptop to production
• ▹Develop and operate CI/CD and GitOps systems, observability tooling and the tools engineers use to build, deploy and observe their services
• ▹Keep the platform fast, correct and reliable for hundreds of engineers and dozens of services

Requirements

• ▹Strong software engineering fundamentals: clean abstractions, maintainable code, justifiable architecture choices
• ▹Production experience with Go strongly preferred; without Go, strong systems programming skills in a comparable language
• ▹Platform engineering experience: CI/CD and GitOps (GitLab CI, Argo CD, Kargo), infrastructure as code (Terraform), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm), observability (VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Loki, Tempo) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) - built and operated, not just consumed, most of them
• ▹Experience with AI coding agents and agentic development workflows
