Junior Datacom Network Assurance Engineer – Graduate Program

Responsibilities

• ▹Provide technical support to customers or partners independently or jointly with the technical support team, and resolve product issues on customer networks to keep them stable and secure
• ▹Provide product maintenance support such as product upgrades, service deployment and rollout, and cutover and migration, particularly for the datacom and storage portfolio
• ▹Proactively manage the customer's network, including health checks, rectification and implementation, and develop solutions for identified network risks
• ▹Support training workshops for customers and partners on product technology and service solutions
• ▹Occasionally take on-call shifts

Requirements

• ▹Recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, ICT or a similar field
• ▹Familiarity with the TCP/IP networking protocol and principles
• ▹Familiarity with networking technologies and products such as routers, switches and firewalls, or knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization and related technologies
• ▹Fluent English and German (C1-C2 level), mandatory
• ▹Motivation to work in an intercultural team, take ownership and grow into a role with increasing responsibility
• ▹Eligibility to work and live in the job location
