Senior Data Engineer – Transport – Nantes

Responsibilities

• ▹Understand the project architecture designed by the architect, bringing a critical eye, and define technical solutions jointly with the expert teams (DevOps, tech watch, architecture)
• ▹Develop the most complex features and build the foundations that enable industrialization
• ▹Perform code reviews and share Software Craftsmanship best practices
• ▹Provide technical leadership to the data engineering team: give guidance, support and review the work delivered
• ▹Actively contribute to the industrialization and continuous integration of projects
• ▹Take part in capitalizing on project knowledge and introducing tooling that secures and optimizes delivery
• ▹Investigate anomalies and identify resolution paths
• ▹Escalate technical difficulties to the cross-functional technical experts

Requirements

• ▹Engineering school degree or equivalent university degree
• ▹At least 5 years of development experience and a first experience in technical leadership
• ▹Strong skills in Spark, SQL and a development language (ideally Scala)
• ▹Good analytical and synthesis skills, interpersonal skills, versatility and autonomy
