Responsibilities

• ▹Take substantive responsibility for large Microsoft SQL Server environments for multiple clients
• ▹Carry out complex installations, optimizations, consolidations and migrations in both on-premises and cloud environments
• ▹Analyze and design database solutions
• ▹Advise clients on changes and substantiate the impact and required effort
• ▹Structurally improve and optimize existing database environments while keeping the bigger picture in view
• ▹Safeguard quality and stability and actively contribute to projects and change initiatives
• ▹Work closely with specialists in SQL Server, Azure and related technologies

Requirements

• ▹Completed technical HBO or university degree (informatics, computer science)
• ▹Extensive experience as an MS SQL Server DBA and knowledge of multiple MS SQL versions up to the most recent
• ▹Extensive knowledge of SQL Server management, monitoring, migrations and consolidations, able to advise on and carry out database-related topics such as security, performance, backup and recovery
• ▹Various Microsoft certifications, including Azure, or willingness to invest in them
• ▹Wish to be involved in the development of colleagues and the community
• ▹Good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written
