Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build and maintain features across the loan origination platform, from application intake and decisioning logic to servicing and collections workflows
• ▹Build internal operational tooling for managing loans, configuring programs, running reports and responding to school and borrower needs
• ▹Take part in architecture decisions, code reviews and technical design discussions
• ▹Apply AI-assisted development techniques (code generation, test writing, refactoring, documentation)
• ▹Work with compliance and legal to implement regulatory requirements (TILA, ECOA, fair lending, state licensing)

Requirements

• ▹Senior-level full stack software engineering experience
• ▹Strong opinions about software quality and a detail-oriented mindset
• ▹Ability to work independently in ambiguous, high-ownership environments
