Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze, design and develop AI solutions using ML, DL and NLP tools and techniques as per the use case
• ▹Research new AI frameworks and technologies and apply them to POCs, prototypes, products and capabilities
• ▹Use the latest small and large language models (SLMs and LLMs) to build AI-based solutions
• ▹Contribute to requirements for new applications and customizations, adhering to standards, processes and best practices
• ▹Coach and develop junior employees
• ▹Group-wide and external public speaking, conveying domain-level directions
• ▹Work with cross-functional teams spread across geographies on product innovation and R&D initiatives
• ▹Publish research papers and file IDFs and patents for AI solution concepts
• ▹Identify opportunities where AI could be a key enabler

Requirements

• ▹Proficiency with Python and the Data Science ecosystem: pandas, numpy, sklearn, keras, torch, transformers, spacy and gensim
• ▹Well versed in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and NLP concepts and models for supervised and unsupervised learning
• ▹Working knowledge of Python API frameworks like FastAPI and JSON objects
• ▹Expertise in prompt engineering with external API-based LLMs (GPT family) and self-hosted models (Llama, dbrx, gemma, Mistral)
• ▹Expertise in creating optimized SQL queries and stored procedures
• ▹Expertise in creating AI solution architectures and pipelines
• ▹Experience creating basic Python-based user interfaces using frameworks like streamlit
• ▹Experience with code configuration management such as GitHub and Bitbucket
• ▹Good working knowledge of PySpark
• ▹Experience with Unix commands for accessing systems and databases and deploying and managing services and APIs
• ▹Working knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure and cloud-native services
• ▹At least 7 years of relevant work experience in Data Science
• ▹Advanced knowledge of modern software engineering concepts and methodologies
• ▹Experience composing solutions where AI is a component part

Nice to have

• ▹Working knowledge of Databricks
• ▹Working knowledge of MLOps tools like MLflow
• ▹Experience with a UI framework such as Angular or React
• ▹Experience with dashboarding tools like Power BI
