IT Systems Engineer - Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT)

The thyssenkrupp Marine Systems CERT team is looking for an IT systems engineer who acts as the technical contact for IT security and IT forensics and creates IT security concepts.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Act as technical contact for IT security and IT forensics and create IT security concepts
  • ▹Handle strategic, conceptual and administrative tasks in the security environment
  • ▹Coordinate security assessments (for example penetration tests) and implement the resulting recommendations
  • ▹Perform forensic analysis of IT security incidents and plan, coordinate and support IT security projects
  • ▹Organize and run IT security awareness training
  • ▹Contribute to group-wide projects and shape the strategic development of IT security

Requirements

  • ▹University degree in computer science with a focus on IT forensics/IT security
  • ▹Several years of professional experience in IT security and cyber defense
  • ▹Sound knowledge of IT forensics, cyber defense, network security and current security architectures
  • ▹Familiarity with the ISO 27001 ISMS standard and BSI IT-Grundschutz
  • ▹Analytical and conceptual thinking, strong attention to detail, high technical competence
  • ▹Good written and spoken English
  • ▹Willingness to travel internationally and regionally
