Fixed Access Engineering Project Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Prepare, monitor and report OPEX and CAPEX budgets for fixed access projects
• ▹Track expenditures, forecast costs and ensure compliance with financial policies
• ▹Build the program/project organizational model and ensure resource capacity to meet project deadlines
• ▹Manage timelines and deliverables of ongoing technical projects (FTTx, xDSL)
• ▹Take part in technical reviews and provide leadership in shaping design and technical strategies for IP
• ▹Perform risk and change management within the projects to meet external customers' business requirements, including costs
• ▹Perform capacity planning and dimensioning for the Access and Aggregation network, working with other telco operators/providers to ensure NNI deployment
• ▹Plan, schedule and oversee acceptance and delivery of active equipment and the delivery of new services
• ▹Coordinate with external vendors on procurement and timely delivery of materials, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and quality standards
• ▹Act as liaison between Engineering, Finance, Procurement and other internal and external stakeholders
• ▹Participate in RFP processes, provide technical requirements and evaluate and manage active equipment vendors

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
• ▹Strong sense of ownership in driving end-to-end project delivery, following company regulations and performance indicators
• ▹Analytical and numerical thinking, with the ability to connect the dots to drive impactful results

Nice to have

• ▹Networking experience and related certifications in Access and IP
