Consulting Engineering Technical Leader

Responsibilities

• ▹Drive the effort to transform customers' current and future network architecture
• ▹Work directly with customers and gain direct exposure to their networks
• ▹Work on network infrastructures and help deliver business and technology solutions spanning data, security, mobility and cloud
• ▹Act as trusted advisor, helping the customer understand their network, reduce risks and take advantage of the technology
• ▹Work with Cisco Engineering to advocate for innovation and share upcoming developments with customers

Requirements

• ▹Active US DoD TS/SCI security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
• ▹US Person status (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, asylee or refugee)
• ▹Living within commuting distance of Annapolis Junction, MD and working onsite 3-4 days per week
• ▹Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in Cisco networking (Enterprise Networking, Security or Data Center)
• ▹CCNP-level experience with Cisco Enterprise Network Routing and Switching platforms and Security+ certification
• ▹Ability to lead, articulate a vision, influence and guide teams in dynamic strategic environments through design, deployment, analysis and resolution of complex network issues

• ▹Experience delivering Cisco standard methodologies within the customer's infrastructure
• ▹Ability to lead or guide teams of Cisco, customer and partner members in analyzing and resolving complex network problems
• ▹Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ▹High-level crisis management by anticipating issues and resolving them with the customer and partners
• ▹Capacity to see and articulate a vision that inspires change
