Backend Test Developer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain automated tests for backend services based on Java, Spring and Spring Boot
• ▹Implement and run unit, integration, system and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality
• ▹Define and develop test scenarios using BDD methodologies and tools such as Cucumber/Gherkin
• ▹Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Analyse incidents, identify root causes and ensure quality standards are met in AWS environments

Requirements

• ▹Solid backend development experience with Java, Spring and Spring Boot
• ▹Proven experience in test automation and in developing unit, integration and system tests
• ▹Command of testing tools and frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, MockMvc, WireMock, AssertJ and Spring Boot Testing
• ▹Practical knowledge and experience in BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin) and end-to-end testing
• ▹AWS experience and knowledge of DevOps practices, including GitLab Pipelines and GitHub Actions
