Consultant Controlling Systems & Data Analytics – Meat Products

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and optimize database-based solutions on SQL, BigQuery or Snowflake for the meat plant controlling landscape
• ▹Automate financial and production processes using Google AppScripts or Google Workflows
• ▹Process and structure large volumes of purchasing, sales and investment data as well as goods movements, and turn them into clear analytics dashboards in HTML or with common BI tools
• ▹Manage your own IT and analytics projects and ensure sustainable data governance standards in close exchange with the business departments
• ▹Build a data-driven rolling forecast for production and financial metrics and drive its automation
• ▹Act as a technical sparring partner for the controlling team, constructively question existing processes and train colleagues in using new systems and data structures

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in business informatics or business administration, ideally with a focus on controlling or IT
• ▹Several years of solid professional experience at the interface of data analysis, IT and controlling, for example in plant, production or financial controlling
• ▹Strong understanding of business contexts and typical controlling logic such as costing, cost-unit accounting and rolling planning
• ▹Enjoyment in analyzing the dynamic business processes of a highly modern meat production operation through numbers
• ▹Very good SQL skills
• ▹Quick grasp, strong problem-solving skills with a cost-benefit focus, and high personal initiative

Nice to have

• ▹First experience with BI tools (e.g. HTML, Power BI, Looker, Tableau)
• ▹Scripting languages (such as Python or AppScripts)
• ▹Familiarity with the Google Workspace environment
