Tester for Quest Consulting

Responsibilities

• ▹Requirements analysis from a testing perspective: analyze requirements, use cases and solution design to identify test needs and risk areas
• ▹Independently design and structure test cases for complete business flows, functionality, integrations and data
• ▹Prepare, quality-assure and structure the necessary test data before test execution
• ▹Carry out functional, integration, end-to-end (E2E), retests and regression tests
• ▹Defect management: identify, document, analyze and follow defects and deviations through to final resolution
• ▹Report test results, deviations and identified risks to the test lead on an ongoing basis
• ▹Work closely with test leads, development teams, architects, business representatives and external suppliers

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of documented testing experience in larger, complex IT solutions
• ▹Very good experience in functional, integration and end-to-end testing
• ▹Good understanding of integrations, data flows and troubleshooting in technically complex environments
• ▹Experience in independently producing test cases from requirements, processes and business needs
• ▹Good experience with test tools and structured, careful defect management
• ▹Relevant higher education or equivalent professional experience
• ▹Good ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written

Nice to have

• ▹ISTQB certification (e.g. Foundation Level or Advanced Test Analyst) or equivalent
• ▹Experience with assortment planning, retail, e-commerce or supply chain systems
• ▹Experience with complex data models and data quality assurance
