Embedded Developer - Defense Industry

Embedded Developer • On-site • Full-time • Sweden Linköping, Sweden

You develop robust systems for Sweden's defense and total defense in long-term assignments with leading players in the Swedish and European defense industry. The work builds on C++ and Linux and uses modern, AI-driven ways of working.

Stack

Responsibilities

  • ▹Develop advanced system solutions for communication, command support and sensors, where cybersecurity, reliability and real-time requirements are central
  • ▹Work across the whole development chain: design, implementation, testing, verification, documentation and systems engineering
  • ▹Influence technology choices and architecture
  • ▹Use AI-assisted development, automated testing and intelligent development tools in development, analysis, testing and documentation

Requirements

  • ▹At least five years of software development experience in C++, preferably in embedded or real-time systems
  • ▹Good experience working in a Linux environment
  • ▹Experience across the whole development chain, from design and implementation to testing, verification and documentation
  • ▹Ability to develop robust solutions in technically complex environments
  • ▹Swedish citizenship and the ability to undergo and pass a security clearance with a registry check

Nice to have

  • ▹Previous experience from the defense sector or with the Ada programming language
  • ▹Experience with unit, integration and system testing, requirements elicitation and analysis, and model-based development or systems engineering

Soft skills

Good communication skills in Swedish and EnglishCuriosity and a drive to keep developingSharing knowledge with colleagues
