Data Scientist - Anti-cheat

Embark's Anti-cheat team is looking for a well-rounded data scientist to strengthen its operational capacity. You help game teams investigate suspicious activity, analyze the performance of detection rules and explore data to design new rules.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Perform ad-hoc investigations into suspicious patterns and gameplay behavior
  • ▹Work with game teams and customer support to verify and explain rule detections
  • ▹Support the esport event teams with vetting of contestants
  • ▹Provide reports and performance analyses of the anti-cheat operation
  • ▹Support game teams with investigations into suspicious activities and performance analyses of detection rules
  • ▹Explore data and player behavior to design new rules

Requirements

  • ▹Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database querying, preferably using tools such as BigQuery
  • ▹Proficiency in Python
  • ▹Experience working with Google Cloud Platform
  • ▹Experience working with ETLs and data pipelines
  • ▹Experience in predictive modeling and analysis over large datasets
  • ▹Professional English communication skills
