Systems Integrator at the Swedish Intelligence Agency

FRA's technology department is looking for a systems integrator who takes complex technical solutions from the drawing board to real operation, working at the interface between development, hardware and operations.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Install, configure, integrate and deploy new systems and components in existing and new environments
  • ▹Troubleshoot and optimise to ensure stable system operation in the short and long term
  • ▹Carry out configuration, hardware and software upgrades and maintain the infrastructure
  • ▹Act as the link between requirement owners, developers and operations staff so that deliveries meet needs
  • ▹Ensure that both internally developed and external products are integrated seamlessly into the systems

Requirements

  • ▹Academic education in computer engineering, IT or equivalent work experience
  • ▹Practical experience of systems integration, including configuration, installation and troubleshooting
  • ▹Good knowledge of either Windows or Linux
  • ▹Basic knowledge of a programming language
  • ▹Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English
  • ▹Swedish citizenship, passing the security vetting and accepting a wartime posting

Nice to have

  • ▹Education in networking, programming, electronics and measurement technology
  • ▹Experience with container technology and orchestration (for example Docker, Kubernetes)
  • ▹Experience with server hardware, infrastructure and automation
  • ▹Experience integrating new physical hardware into existing systems
  • ▹B driving licence
