Responsibilities

• ▹Develop new media streaming features for camera systems
• ▹Collaborate with technology partners to integrate devices seamlessly into diverse customer systems
• ▹Design and implement packaging for video, audio and metadata
• ▹Perform threat modeling, programming and code reviews
• ▹Conduct testing, deployment and monitoring of software components
• ▹Collaborate with technology partners to integrate cloud-hosted applications
• ▹Use and contribute to open-source components like GStreamer and ffmpeg
• ▹Identify and establish technical connections across the organization

Requirements

• ▹Advanced knowledge of C programming in a Linux environment
• ▹Experience with multi-threaded programming
• ▹Relevant university education in Software Engineering or equivalent
• ▹Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of other programming languages like Rust or Python
• ▹Experience with network communication protocols such as TCP and HTTPS
• ▹Understanding of media streaming and video codecs like RTSP, H264 and MP4
• ▹Familiarity with gdb, valgrind, docker, Jenkins and Wireshark
• ▹Experience working with open-source software communities
