Unit Manager for the New Information Security and System Management Unit

Responsibilities

• ▹Build, lead and develop the new unit and support employees in a broadened remit
• ▹Responsibility for staff, operations and finances within the unit
• ▹Plan, follow up and develop the unit's processes
• ▹Create a suitable governance environment and ways of working so the municipality can meet its commitments
• ▹Carry out information security classifications, risk analyses, security measures and security follow-up
• ▹Support operations in identifying and handling information security risks and in producing and following up action plans
• ▹Support the handling of information security incidents and questions related to NIS 2 and the Swedish cybersecurity regulations
• ▹Give training to case officers and managers

Requirements

• ▹A completed, relevant university education
• ▹Experience of both operational and strategic work with information security
• ▹Good knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation
• ▹Understanding of how data protection, information security and administrative system management fit together and can be handled as a whole
• ▹Very good Swedish, spoken and written
• ▹A police criminal record extract must be presented

Nice to have

• ▹Experience of working in politically governed organisations
• ▹Leadership experience, for example through coordination or project management (managerial experience is an advantage but not required)
• ▹Experience of system management from a business perspective
• ▹Experience of data protection and administrative system management
• ▹General understanding of IT security
