Information Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• ▹Review and assess security matters in IT systems and identify risks and needs for security measures
• ▹Carry out and support the organization in threat, risk and vulnerability analyses, protection-value analyses and security analyses
• ▹Identify relevant security measures and IT security requirements based on the analyses
• ▹Formulate IT security requirements and assess how they can be applied through technical and organizational measures
• ▹Document analyses and assessments in reports, opinions and decision material
• ▹Present and gain buy-in for analyses, assessments and recommended measures from stakeholders
• ▹Train and share knowledge in IT and information security
• ▹Work closely with colleagues in the group, architects, other specialist functions and the relevant business areas within the IT organization

Requirements

• ▹Good spoken and written Swedish
• ▹At least 9 years of documented experience as an information security specialist or equivalent, gained within the last 10 years
• ▹At least 8 years of practical experience acting as an expert in complex IT security assignments
• ▹At least 8 years of practical experience performing threat, risk and vulnerability analyses
• ▹At least 8 years of practical experience specifying requirements for secure design and architecture of IT security solutions in IT systems
• ▹At least 8 years of experience making security assessments, based on risk analysis and security requirements, when introducing new technology, technical platforms and IT systems
• ▹At least 5 years of expertise in IP/internet, WAN, vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, PKI and directory services
• ▹At least 5 years of experience working in an organization that handles security-classified information

Nice to have

• ▹Experience preparing with the supervisory authority for security approval of security-protected IT systems
• ▹Experience working in the judicial system
• ▹Experience in the public sector, preferably in larger organizations
• ▹Certification, for example CISSP or equivalent
