(Senior) Frontend Engineer – Webstack

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and maintain high-quality, performant and scalable frontend features for the webshop (desktop, mobile web, tablet) with React and TypeScript
• ▹Work closely with product managers, UX designers and QA managers to turn concepts and requirements into user-friendly, reliable features
• ▹Play an active role in solving complex technical problems and architecting innovative, sustainable frontend solutions
• ▹Take responsibility for large projects from conception to deployment, working largely independently
• ▹Foster a culture of high-quality code, continuous learning and knowledge sharing
• ▹Take part in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability and adherence to best practices
• ▹Contribute to optimizing the frontend architecture, performance (Core Web Vitals) and development workflows

Requirements

• ▹At least 4 years of frontend development experience
• ▹Professional-level JavaScript and TypeScript
• ▹Deep experience with React and its ecosystem (e.g. Hooks, Context)
• ▹Strong HTML and modern CSS skills (e.g. CSS-in-JS, responsive design)
• ▹Solid understanding of frontend testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library)
• ▹Experience integrating REST APIs and with state management (e.g. Redux, Zustand, React Query)
• ▹Familiarity with build tools (e.g. Webpack, Vite) and package managers (e.g. npm, yarn)
• ▹Sound knowledge of web performance optimization and accessibility (a11y)
• ▹Confident use of Git and familiarity with CI/CD workflows

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with server-side rendering (SSR)
• ▹Experience in a large e-commerce environment
• ▹Knowledge of Node.js
• ▹Experience building or maintaining a design system or component library
• ▹Experience with end-to-end testing tools such as Cypress
