Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Contribute to security projects and respond to investigations, vulnerabilities and questions
• ▹Cover application, infrastructure and internal/corporate security, both proactive and reactive
• ▹Join the on-call rotation and help respond to security incidents
• ▹Write code to support security work and improve the security of the platform
• ▹Work with the security team, the wider Risk engineering org and partners in engineering, legal and IT

Requirements

• ▹Two or more years of experience reducing security risks in application, infrastructure or corporate security
• ▹Ability to create a threat model and explain why a risk matters
• ▹Three or more years of deeper knowledge in at least one security domain (infrastructure, application, cloud, corporate/IT security, cryptography, privacy)
• ▹Ability to develop software in Python, Rust, Golang or a similar language
• ▹Experience in a modern development environment (git, CI/CD, LLM coding tools)
• ▹Experience using AI tools (LLMs, ML models) to identify and address security issues
