Engineering Manager, Cx App Foundations

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the platform roadmap (shared SDKs, client foundations, developer tooling) and sequence it against the migration and adoption goals of the three brands
• ▹Drive adoption of shared foundations by partnering with product teams, running onboarding and rollout support
• ▹Lead, coach and grow experienced mobile and web engineers, keeping growth conversations, calibration and feedback loops running
• ▹Keep the team's operating model healthy: clear intake, supported capabilities with entry criteria, predictable delivery
• ▹Guide architectural and system design decisions for client foundations that three brands and multiple app platforms depend on
• ▹Stay hands-on by contributing code and reviews, and champion AI-native development practices
• ▹Grow the team through hiring

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of experience managing engineers, including a team with senior engineers
• ▹5+ years of mobile or web engineering, with enough technical depth for architecture discussions about client foundations
• ▹Fluent day-to-day use of AI tooling and staying close to the code
• ▹Experience running a platform, SDK or shared service that other teams depend on
• ▹Working naturally across product teams, design, other platform organisations, data/analytics and stakeholders in other locations and time zones
• ▹High bar for engineering quality, calm and structured handling of production incidents and release tradeoffs
• ▹Based in Helsinki, Finland
