Information Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and automate controls, detection mechanisms and tooling for infrastructure and product security
• ▹Research and evaluate new information security technologies, techniques and frameworks
• ▹Design, implement and maintain security monitoring and remediation systems
• ▹Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate security into new features and pipelines
• ▹Conduct risk assessments and threat models of core systems, services and third-party vendors
• ▹Participate in, and sometimes lead, incident response and post-incident analysis
• ▹Support compliance initiatives such as SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, C5 and GDPR
• ▹Manage and improve the public bug bounty and vulnerability disclosure programs

Requirements

• ▹3-6 years of experience in information security engineering, infrastructure protection or related fields
• ▹Scripting or automation skills in at least one language (Python, Bash, Go or similar)
• ▹Strong understanding of security for modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure) and datacenters
• ▹At least 3 years operating log management/SIEM, threat detection, endpoint detection and response, SAST, SOAR and CTI systems
• ▹Knowledge of common internet threats, attack vectors and mitigation strategies
• ▹Understanding of computer systems, networks and low-level protocols from a security perspective
• ▹Experience in incident detection and response

Nice to have

• ▹Kubernetes experience
• ▹At least one year of deep CrowdStrike or Obsidian experience (preferably both)
