Responsibilities

• ▹Build, maintain and improve the data platform used across Alan
• ▹Partner closely with technical and non-technical colleagues to build data solutions they can trust
• ▹Improve the developer experience when building and maintaining data pipelines
• ▹Enable reliable and secure access to the data warehouse for colleagues and AI agents
• ▹Strengthen security and governance around data assets
• ▹Define and implement standard data practices across the company
• ▹Evolve the core data infrastructure to support international expansion and growing product breadth

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of experience demonstrating impact in data positions
• ▹Experience building and operating production data infrastructure: orchestration (Airflow or similar), a cloud data warehouse, infrastructure as code
• ▹Experience designing systems, tools or libraries used by other engineers, scientists or analysts
• ▹Proficient in Python and SQL
• ▹High standard of rigor and precision, interested in the craft
• ▹Great listening and communication skills
• ▹Fluent and clear English, both oral and written (no need to speak French)

Nice to have

• ▹Curiosity about AI and eagerness to use it thoughtfully to increase impact
