QA Engineer (Fin DB)

Responsibilities

• ▹Build and maintain automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript
• ▹Create and execute test cases based on new feature implementations
• ▹API and backend testing, ensuring data integrity
• ▹Functional, integration, regression and system testing across FinDB systems
• ▹Manual testing when needed
• ▹Prepare test scenarios, test data and coverage from product requirements
• ▹Analyse logs and system flows to find root causes
• ▹Document and track defects with reproducible steps
• ▹Join refinement sessions and collaborate with engineers and product teams

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of experience in QA automation
• ▹Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript, Python and PyTest
• ▹Experience with API and backend testing
• ▹Strong functional and integration testing experience
• ▹Ability to design clear, maintainable test cases
• ▹Strong debugging skills with logs and system behaviour
• ▹Good communication and ownership

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce or financial platforms
• ▹Experience with acquiring, settlement, payouts or transaction-based systems
• ▹Understanding of transaction flows, reconciliation or financial data
• ▹Experience with Selenium
• ▹Understanding of distributed systems or microservices
• ▹Cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines and Git
