Cloud Security Engineer (Team Lead)

Responsibilities

• ▹Partner with product owners and engineers to turn customer needs and technical risks into actionable solutions
• ▹Lead, mentor and grow a team of cloud security engineers and researchers, owning planning and delivery of research and team projects
• ▹Conduct architectural reviews of major cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI), their telemetry and Kubernetes to uncover threat vectors and structural vulnerabilities
• ▹Pioneer new threat identification methods and build security rules and automated safeguards from the ground up
• ▹Perform advanced threat modeling on complex cloud architectures and emerging AI/LLM infrastructures
• ▹Contribute to strategic architecture decisions and the security product roadmap
• ▹Drive code quality through code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD, and mentor fellow engineers
• ▹Support the Prowler community, implement customer-driven requests and represent the team externally

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, at least 3 of them focused on cloud security
