Software Engineer Backend (Django)

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop high-quality software design and architecture
• ▹Design and implement efficient APIs for the front-end team
• ▹Write clean, functional and scalable back-end code for web applications
• ▹Implement and manage databases and applications
• ▹Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic
• ▹Optimise applications for speed, scalability and security
• ▹Collaborate with QA engineers on test strategies, write and run testing scripts
• ▹Perform regular updates and develop new features

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• ▹At least 2-5 years of experience as a Backend Developer or similar role
• ▹Server-side Python with Django and Django Rest Framework
• ▹Experience with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB
• ▹Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• ▹Basic understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA)
• ▹Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
