Project Manager – Open Source Software & Upstream Enablement, Remote

Responsibilities

• ▹Manage a portfolio of open source initiatives: Linux Kernel upstreaming, Open Boot, Zephyr RTOS, Linux distributions (Yocto, Debian, Fedora), testing and validation infrastructure, LAVA and KernelCI
• ▹Define and maintain program roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives
• ▹Facilitate prioritization, backlog management and quarterly planning
• ▹Coordinate execution across multiple SoCs, product teams and technology groups
• ▹Drive projects end to end from planning to delivery, managing milestones and dependencies
• ▹Monitor program health through KPIs and mitigate risks and bottlenecks
• ▹Own governance of Jira-based planning and execution and keep project data high quality
• ▹Prepare executive-level status updates and business reviews
