Senior Java Developer (Full Remote)

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop backend features following the standards and best practices defined by the team
• ▹Take an active part in pull request reviews, giving constructive feedback
• ▹Contribute to the design and evolution of REST APIs under API First (OpenAPI) standards
• ▹Take part in implementing microservice-based solutions
• ▹Apply Clean Code, SOLID and design patterns in daily development
• ▹Help write and maintain technical documentation
• ▹Take part in the functional and technical definition of new products and capabilities

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of backend development experience with Java 17/21+
• ▹Demonstrable experience in Spec Driven Development (SDD) and professional use of AI across the software development lifecycle
• ▹Solid knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem
• ▹Experience designing and developing REST APIs with an API First approach (OpenAPI/Swagger)
• ▹Experience with microservice and hexagonal architectures
• ▹Knowledge of SOLID, Clean Code and design patterns
• ▹Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, especially MariaDB and/or MongoDB
• ▹Experience with CI/CD environments
• ▹Experience writing and running unit and integration tests
