Senior Backend Developer - Agents (100% Remote in Germany)

Responsibilities

• ▹Inbox agents: autonomous agents triggered when something new happens in a ticket, handling complex flows on their own; decide when to hand over to a human and how to ensure they follow the process
• ▹Harness engineering: improve how the agent with over 100 tools understands requests, and decide what belongs in the system prompt versus skills
• ▹Knowledge base: improve the self-built, Notion-like knowledge base and its search through tools, system prompts or skills
• ▹Voice agents: agents built on LiveKit that handle calls the way text agents handle tickets
• ▹LLM infrastructure: choose the right model per task, reduce latency with caching and streaming, retry cleanly on provider outages, keep context compact, optimize RAG search, track usage, cut costs and verify with evals

Requirements

• ▹Senior developer experience
• ▹TypeScript across the whole stack, from database schema to frontend
• ▹Enjoys complexity and wants work that really matters
