QA Engineer – Validation & Automation (CET ±2h | Remote)

Responsibilities

• ▹Plan, execute and document testing and validation activities in a regulated environment
• ▹Develop and improve automated testing approaches and integrate them into QA workflows
• ▹Use AI-assisted tools to improve testing, analysis, automation and validation, with appropriate human oversight
• ▹Collaborate with Development and IT teams to embed quality and automated testing into development and deployment workflows
• ▹Maintain traceability, validation evidence and audit-ready documentation; manage defects and quality risks
• ▹Make testing and validation more efficient, scalable, risk-based and automated
• ▹Work with QA, Development, Product and IT/DevOps teams and contribute to QA best practices

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, testing, validation, test automation or a related area
• ▹Experience in a regulated or highly controlled environment (healthcare/life sciences, medical technology, banking, insurance, aerospace, energy)
• ▹Hands-on experience with testing and validation processes: test design, execution, defect management, documentation, traceability
• ▹Practical experience with test automation
• ▹Experience in modern software development and DevOps environments
• ▹Good understanding of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD and cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure
• ▹Hands-on experience with test automation tools, frameworks or scripting
• ▹Practical experience using AI tools for QA, testing or automation
• ▹Strong analytical skills, translating requirements and risks into test scenarios
• ▹Ability to work independently in an international, remote team
• ▹Excellent written and verbal English communication

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with GxP, GAMP 5, ICH GCP, CSV or CSA
