You plan, configure and deliver network services across Trafikverket's data networks, from planning and ordering through implementation, documentation and follow-up. You work with wired and wireless networks at small and large scale.

Responsibilities

▹Lead planning and building of new data networks around the country together with contractors, and place contracting orders
▹Handle operations issues and fault correction
▹Configure and back up network equipment and related data communication systems
▹Supplier contact with financial follow-up
▹Keep complete documentation in the relevant support systems
▹Take part in management tasks and contribute to developing technology and communication solutions
▹Take part in the group's on-call arrangement

Requirements

▹Relevant post-secondary education (e.g. telecom, data communications or IT security), or other education combined with work experience deemed equivalent
▹A few years of work experience building wired and wireless LANs at larger organisations
▹A few years of work experience troubleshooting LAN faults at larger organisations
▹A few years of work experience leading field technicians in LAN construction and operation at larger organisations
▹A few years of work experience planning and documenting LANs at larger organisations
▹Evening and night work may occur, on-call duty may become relevant later
