Senior Solution Engineer - Expansion

Responsibilities

• ▹Present Snowflake's technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
• ▹Work hands-on with prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation
• ▹Create and develop technical champions in accounts to achieve a technical win
• ▹Confidently present Snowflake roadmap features and functionality
• ▹Maintain a deep understanding of the industry and of competitive and complementary technologies
• ▹Work closely with other sales engineers and learn from wins and losses
• ▹Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Marketing to improve products
• ▹Represent Snowflake at industry or customer events
• ▹Work with ecosystem and implementation partners to build joint architectures and account strategies
• ▹Contribute to account and territory plans and execute them

Requirements

• ▹Solution engineering/solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry (analytics, data science, data engineering)
• ▹Outstanding presentation skills to technical and executive audiences, on a whiteboard or with demos
• ▹Understanding of and experience with data architecture, data analytics and cloud technology
• ▹Hands-on SQL experience
• ▹Ability to solve customer-specific business problems with Snowflake's solutions
• ▹Customer-facing skills
