Senior C#/.NET Developer (Short Term)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and maintain a high-performance image processing system capable of processing up to terabytes of 3D and raster images per day, with 24/7 availability
• ▹Implement algorithms and techniques to efficiently process and analyze images, including segmentation, feature extraction and object recognition
• ▹Develop back-end tools and applications to visualize and manipulate 3D images and point cloud data
• ▹Optimize processing speed and memory usage
• ▹Implement database management solutions to store and retrieve image data efficiently
• ▹Implement integration with embedded devices via the gRPC protocol
• ▹Collaborate with other team members, including microscope hardware engineers, to ensure seamless system integration

Requirements

• ▹Extensive experience with C# (.NET/.NET Core)
• ▹Strong understanding of performance optimization and image processing algorithms and techniques
• ▹Experience with raster image processing and manipulation
• ▹Familiarity with image file formats, including TIFF, JPEG and PNG
• ▹Knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing
• ▹Experience with SQL and large-scale database management (MS SQL or PostgreSQL)
• ▹Familiarity with .NET libraries such as ADO.NET, Entity Framework or Dapper
• ▹Familiarity with the gRPC protocol

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with image processing libraries such as OpenCV, EmguCV or ImageMagick
• ▹Experience with healthcare image processing, particularly Zeiss CZI
