Senior System Engineer – Application Operations and System Administration

Responsibilities

• ▹Manage the operation of IT infrastructure
• ▹Install, test and implement software and configuration changes
• ▹Ensure information security compliance
• ▹Monitor, check and control system performance and system logs, and develop measures for performance optimisation, operational stability and incident prevention
• ▹Handle changes, incidents and problems in line with ITIL and defined processes
• ▹Support and advise on IT infrastructure projects

Requirements

• ▹Successfully completed IT training with very good expertise and several years of professional experience
• ▹At least 5 years of experience in supporting and operating IT infrastructure procedures
• ▹ITIL Foundation, or good process knowledge
• ▹Good to very good knowledge of server operating systems, administration applications and shell scripts
• ▹Good knowledge of the GitLab/GitOps approach and Kubernetes with OpenShift / Argo CD
• ▹Strong customer orientation, responsible initiative, solution orientation and teamwork
• ▹Very good German and good English
• ▹Willingness to travel nationwide
