PMO Lead / Senior IT Project Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Leading end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including network deployments, cabling, and multi-site rollouts
• ▹Managing multiple concurrent projects with responsibility for scope, timelines, and budgets
• ▹Serving as the primary client-facing contact, including executive-level status updates
• ▹Reviewing RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to ensure quality, completeness, and alignment with client requirements
• ▹Developing and maintaining project documentation, including statements of work, schedules, and closeout reports
• ▹Coordinating internal engineering teams and field resources for project execution
• ▹Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies proactively
• ▹Ensuring all milestones are achieved and projects are delivered on time and within budget
• ▹Identifying and escalating new business opportunities within existing client accounts
• ▹Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction
• ▹Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to resolve project challenges

Requirements

• ▹Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a focus on IT infrastructure or network-related projects
• ▹Proven experience managing full project lifecycles from initiation to completion
• ▹Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams
• ▹Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including Cisco, HPE, Aruba, and structured cabling (fiber, CAT5/6)
• ▹Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders
• ▹Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget

Nice to have

• ▹PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• ▹Experience working with public sector or education clients, including familiarity with E-Rate programs
• ▹Knowledge of ITIL or IT Service Management frameworks
• ▹Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar
• ▹Experience working with U.S.-based clients
• ▹Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
