Airbus - Embedded Software Engineer FCS & FMS

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze stakeholder needs and define/specify functional requirements
• ▹Create architectures and system designs using model-based approaches (data-flow and state-machine diagrams)
• ▹Develop and implement software in C and Ada within FCS & FMS
• ▹Allocate system requirements to individual system elements and oversee change management
• ▹Perform impact analyses and verify correct, complete implementation of software components

Requirements

• ▹Completed Master's or Diploma degree in computer science, embedded systems, or a comparable IT field
• ▹Several years (4+) of professional experience in IT and information systems, ideally in aviation
• ▹Solid knowledge of model-based system design plus strong C and Ada skills
• ▹Business-fluent English for the international team; German is a plus
• ▹Independent, self-motivated way of working and strong team spirit

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with ARINC 653-based HRTOS and IMA (ED-124/DO-297)
