Systems Engineer – Embedded Software (Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics)

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop embedded software (C/C++) for prototypes controlling and regulating solenoid valves
• ▹Control solenoid valves and sensors and develop matching algorithms
• ▹Turn innovative product ideas into concrete concepts together with sales and R&D
• ▹Run electrical, hydraulic and mechanical tests and optimize systems in close coordination with hardware development
• ▹Create specifications and requirement/design documents for series development
• ▹Coordinate external partners and own requirements management
• ▹Support validation and EMC testing, document development work and present results internally

Requirements

• ▹Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or comparable field, with solid embedded software development experience in C/C++ (RTOS experience a plus)
• ▹Basic understanding of electronic circuits and hardware integration
• ▹Experience controlling actuators, sensors or similar embedded systems
• ▹Confident use of measurement and test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, debugger, lab power supplies)
• ▹Structured, independent way of working and high quality awareness
• ▹German at C1 level and English at B2 level or above

Nice to have

• ▹Experience collaborating with external electronics developers and evaluating development output
• ▹Ability to communicate technical content to different audiences
