Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the CI/CD modernization by transitioning pipelines from Jenkins to Harness
• ▹Automate software builds and deployments to eliminate manual operational overhead
• ▹Design, provision, and maintain high-availability AWS infrastructure (EKS, RDS, S3, ElastiCache) using modular Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
• ▹Ensure 100% Infrastructure-as-Code compliance across all platforms
• ▹Support development teams as an embedded infrastructure expert via a dedicated Ask Infrastructure channel
• ▹Troubleshoot deployment issues, upgrade dependencies, and embed DevOps culture across engineering scrums
• ▹Enhance system telemetry and alerting across Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack
• ▹Participate in an on-call rotation after a 3-month onboarding period

Requirements

• ▹Proven track record running production systems on AWS via CLI/API and building modular infrastructure with Terraform
• ▹Strong hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes management (EKS)
• ▹Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, Git workflows, and build/release automation
• ▹Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Go, or Bash) for infrastructure automation

Nice to have

• ▹Direct experience with Harness CI/CD platform migrations
• ▹Familiarity with multi-cloud architectures (GCP/Azure)
• ▹Experience configuring Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK telemetry stacks
