Software Test Engineer – Hybrid

Responsibilities

• ▹Support the team in software testing and software quality assurance
• ▹Ensure high software quality standards regarding functionality, UX, security, performance and reliability
• ▹Perform manual and automated software tests (unit, integration, end-to-end, system, regression) based on requirements and risk, and independently plan test scope
• ▹Define and maintain test cases, test plans and test strategies
• ▹Hand documented defect analysis over to development as a direct interface
• ▹Take part in the agile team's sprint planning, retrospectives and reviews
• ▹Support 2nd- and 3rd-level support

Requirements

• ▹Relevant vocational training (e.g. Fachinformatiker), a degree (e.g. computer science), or comparable qualification
• ▹Experience with software test automation, integration tests and unit tests
• ▹Good programming skills in JavaScript and C#
• ▹Team player, self-driven, open to new methods and approaches
• ▹Good German and English skills
• ▹At least 3 years of experience
• ▹Knowledge/experience with SCRUM/agile methods
• ▹German at C2 level

• ▹ISTQB certification
