Responsibilities

• ▹Own the technical direction and engineering standards of the core platform
• ▹Provide hands-on guidance, mentoring and constructive challenge to engineers across multiple services and repositories
• ▹Review architectural decisions and production changes affecting financial integrity, performance, resilience and recovery
• ▹Translate business priorities into a practical technical roadmap
• ▹Lead the investigation of complex production incidents across ledger, order-management, matching and payment services
• ▹Trace transactions and failures across process boundaries using logs, traces, data and network evidence
• ▹Improve observability, incident response and recovery procedures
• ▹Define operational controls for stateful services
• ▹Protect the reliability and integrity of the ledger, order-management and matching capabilities
• ▹Develop the team through mentoring and code and design reviews

Requirements

• ▹Hands-on technical leadership experience with financial systems
• ▹Experience with concurrency, binary protocols, clustered services, deterministic processing, replay and recovery
• ▹Confident work across Linux, Kubernetes and event-driven infrastructure, including safe operation of stateful workloads
• ▹Evidence-led decision making and understanding of production systems
