Data Governance Consultant

Responsibilities

• ▹Take part in data governance projects: define the data governance policy and set up processes and tools at client sites
• ▹Lead teams and workshops
• ▹Write presentations and functional and technical specifications
• ▹Support clients and propose technology solutions that fit their needs
• ▹Take part in implementing tools (Data Catalog, Reference data, MDM, Data Quality)
• ▹Promote and help develop the offering with clients
• ▹Spread data culture among clients
• ▹Share knowledge within the team through lessons learned and internal communities and projects

Requirements

• ▹Knowledge of the data lifecycle and architectures, from sources to user-facing exposure
• ▹Ability to support business teams in expressing and translating their needs and raising their maturity in data usage
• ▹Significant experience on data governance projects or assignments as a business analyst (AMOA) or Data Steward
• ▹Engineering school, business school or university degree (Bac+5)
• ▹At least 6 years of experience in a company or consulting firm
• ▹Adaptability and analytical skills to understand client contexts
• ▹Passion for innovation and new technologies
