Planning Analytics Business Enablement Analyst

You support the functional design and deployment of the global Planning Analytics (TM1) solutions used for budgeting, forecasting and operational planning within the Controlling Enablement team: documentation, requirements, testing and user support. Budapest, hybrid (60/40), permanent full-time.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Ensure complete, accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout all project phases
  • ▹Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, including test script preparation, execution and defect reporting
  • ▹Contribute to capturing business requirements and preparing functional documentation
  • ▹Coordinate change management, training material preparation and knowledge transfer
  • ▹Manage demand intake and governance processes by capturing stakeholder requirements, maintaining accurate demand records (SharePoint/Jira) and ensuring alignment with project priorities and resource constraints
  • ▹Create, maintain and update functional specifications, operational guides, test scripts and data dictionaries; manage document version control and archival while coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders
  • ▹Track project progress, issues and changes and provide clear status reporting to leadership
  • ▹Coordinate demand governance activities and provide analysis to support prioritization and resource planning decisions
  • ▹Manage and document requirement gathering sessions by analyzing, collecting and synthesizing stakeholder inputs and process flows
  • ▹Conduct gap analysis to provide actionable insights for solution design
  • ▹Develop and coordinate test cases and scenarios (SIT and UAT) covering functional requirements, integration points and business processes with risk-based prioritization
  • ▹Execute test protocols, document results, identify defects and coordinate resolution with technical teams
  • ▹Guide UAT participants through testing processes
  • ▹Create training materials and user guides to support system rollouts and process changes
  • ▹Execute change management communication strategies and lead user feedback sessions
  • ▹Deliver first-line functional support during hypercare periods, documenting user issues and providing timely resolutions
  • ▹Implement knowledge transfer to operational teams to ensure sustainable long-term support

Requirements

  • ▹3-5 years' experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Data/Analytics or system support roles
  • ▹Experience in preparing structured documentation, training materials and system and/or operation specifications preferred
  • ▹Strong attention to detail in documentation and training material preparation
  • ▹Solid understanding of testing and project methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
  • ▹Ability to coordinate activities and manage workstreams and to analyze data or test outcomes
  • ▹Clear and concise written and verbal communication, adapting communication style as needed

Nice to have

  • ▹Exposure to system implementation and/or enhancement projects
  • ▹Experience with testing or UAT activities
  • ▹Basic understanding of planning tools (TM1, Anaplan, BPC, etc.)
